The experience
The idea behind this excursion is to change the perspective on the Caverna de las Brujas, going beyond the standard tourist visit: experiencing this place as the raw diamond it is for speleology.
🧭 What the excursion is like
📚 Speleology class
On arrival at the reserve, at the Visitors’ Centre, we give a basic speleology class. We learn the fundamentals of the discipline and draw up the plan for entering the cave. We explain (and simulate) how to plan a speleological expedition.
🥾 Trekking — Mirador Chacay-Co
We do a short trek circling part of the cave, with beautiful views from the Malargüe mountains.
Every passenger receives a helmet for this walk, keeping safety the top priority. We are the only tourism agency that provides helmets for all types of trekking.
🪨 Inside the cave
Regulations allow a maximum of 90 minutes inside the cave. That is why we deliver the theoretical explanation during the opening class — so we can spend the maximum time inside taking photos.
Each passenger is given a speleology helmet with built-in headlamp before entering.
